I've been praying that Isabel stays to the north of us; I made contingency plans with my Melbourne class to make up Tuesday night's class if Isabel takes the southerly track. However, I don't want Spuddy to get it in the neck. It's been heading fairly straight west, but they're expecting it to start to veer to the NW and nail North Carolina and the Tater Bed.
Well, let's just pray that wherever it makes landfall, that the people batten down the hatches, head for high ground and make the best of it.
No offense, but please not Wilmington -- they've had quite enough of the big one for the past decade. And I'm hoping not the norhern portion of NC -- where my parents live.
Why not New Hampshire? I'm sure their bishop-elect would see it as a sign of divine favor.

It's looking like the Chesapeake Bay area will get slammed after the Outer Banks, and then the Commish and friends up in DC will see some real emergency management in action. Hope Isabel keeps downgrading from a 4 to a 3 (or 2). While the Taterbed is about 200 miles inland, I have a hunch that Isabel will have long arms.
