Since You're Acting Like Schoolkids: a Recess Appointment

This should give liberals something to rant about over the weekend. Bush went and named Charles Pickering in a recess appointment, putting him on the 5th circuit until next January. The local blacks like him, but the usual suspects on the left don't, and it's the usual suspects that control the special interest money on the left.

Pickering's one of the judicial filibusterees; maybe when his recess appointment expires when the next Congress is formed, there'll be a few more friendly faces to get to 60 votes.
