I've got one of those viruses that refuses to go away. I tried teaching through it last night but was coughing my way through an hour of class before calling it a night.
I went back to the doctor today and got some better drugs to try and clear out my bronchitis. Even though I'm felling better than I was this time last week when I had a double-dip of a bacterial and viral bronchitis, I'm not up to talking for long periods. That would be OK if I had a office job, but it's death to a college professor.
The doctor order me back home for two days. Other than my attempt yesterday, I've been out the last two weeks.
That's depressing. What's more depressing is that the virus has to run its course, and other folks have fought it for a month or more. I'm only two weeks in. Lovely.
Prayers for patience and healing are an order.
Really knocks it out of you eh?
I had a bronchitis as a kid, grew out of it then got hit again when I lived in a steel manufacturing city.
I'm sorry you are sick, bacterial infections can be scary. Been praying you recover, I'll add in patience.;^)
The up side of you having to be home if there is an up side, is you've been posting more.
Get well.
