We're in the process of loading up our stuff and heading to Midland later today; I'm writing just after midnight on a slow on-line tutoring night.
We'll miss seeing the UK juggernaut head for a national title, but we'll be closer to friends and family. Most of the UK games are on national TV anyway. Being in Midland means getting the CBC on our cable; they will likely do a great job of covering the Winter Olympics in their home turf. CBC is great for sports fans, since they cover the Olympics as sports rather than as entertainment as NBC is wont to do.
Hopefully, I'll get my blogging mojo back once I get back to Midland.

The US under-17's kicked our collective hockey puck in Jr. World's, it's payback time.
Safe journey.

Best of luck on getting settled, Mark.
I know of two publications that are taking freelance work and pay (health care and telecom/tech policy respectively). Shoot me an email if you are interested.
