TCU looks like it is changing its mind and is going to go to the Big 12 rather than the Big East. The Big East didn't make much sense other than as a way to get into an AQ conference; the Big 12 is in their back yard and TCU makes a good swap-out for A&M in a reconstituted South division. The Big East will get a $5M exit fee for a team that never played a game in it; there's a one-liner there, but I can't quite make it work.
The next problem is filling in the Big 12 North, which is down to four and may be down to three if Missouri jumps ship for the SEC. Louisville, West Virginia and BYU might be possibilities, as might Memphis and Cincinnati.
There might not be much left of the Big East once the dust settles. Sending Louisville, WV and Cincy to the Big 12 and UConn and Rutgers to the ACC would polish off all but South Florida from the Big East's football schools.
This looks like someone is playing a Sim NCAA game with real life.
