The Pistons trimmed down to only 13 players after letting three low-rent invitees go yesterday. Jake Voskuhl never saw the light of day during the two-game preseason; I was surprised how long it had been since he was at UConn (2000).
However, they only have four guards on the roster; Stuckey, Knight, Gordon and Bynum. Austin Daye can play some 2 if need be, and the Pistons looked good with a Knight and Daye backcourt in Tuesday night's first quarter.
That does leave two slots open, and one might go to Manny Harris, who got let go by Cleveland today. A free combo guard with Detroit and U of M roots might not be a bad addition, especially if the Knight and Daye experiment works and Ben Gordon gets amnestied under the bus.
Of course, that makes too much sense, so it likely won't happen. If the freezer burn has healed up, he'd at least be a good guy to have as an insurance policy.

Kris Humphries as the most disliked player? Most pitied is more like it. I have refrained from commenting on his short-lived marriage, but opposing fans sure will let him have it. Given the million-dollar wedding ring, there is a PG-13 pun with his surname waiting to happen, but not here.
Prior to his foray into the tabloids and the young woman best left unmentioned, he was a journeyman power forward. There are a lot more Despicable Mes out there in the NBA than he.
