Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.
That should be the case, but not everyone wants that pesky Brat in the way, the One that insists on being Lord and Savior. Many of those people who are "spiritual but not religious" want a relationship with God without having His son in the way, but it's a package deal. Jesus can't be shipped off to boarding school.
