Not that Harper, we're talking Bryce Harper, the Washington National's teenage phenom. He's also a rather stormin' Mormon, ranking 20th in OPS in the National League; not bad for a 19-year-old. He hit a mammoth homer in Toronto earlier in the week.
Ontario has their drinking age at 19, so a local reporter asked if he would take advantage of that as a lot of Michganders have over the years; I can recall friends talking about excursion over to Windsor or Sarnia bopping over to both take advantage of the lower age limit and the supposedly stronger beer.
Harper brushed him off with "That's a clown question, bro'." His namesake in Ottawa might take note in how to handle the Canadian media.
