Craig Robinson is wise to merely be the the Oregon State basketball coach. That way, if people take their frustrations out on his POTUS brother-in-law, he's off in a college town on the west coast.
The same can't be said of Assef Shawkat; he was Bashar Assad brother-in-law and deputy defense minister. Past tense, since he got killed when Syrian rebels (one assumes) took a page out of Nazi history and bombed a meeting of key military folks. The defense minister also got to meet his maker along with two others.
That's hitting close to home and might encourage Assad to start looking at asylum villas elsewhere on the Med.
