Interesting tidbit on our new Pope Francis; he was a supporter of Communion and Liberation, a Catholic spiritual-growth movement that reminds me quite a bit of a good small-group Bible study in evangelical churches, albeit from an orthodox Catholic perspective. It also tends to lean right when it noses into Italian politics, but I'm much more interested in the spiritual aspect rather than the temporal stuff.
Getting Christians of any stripe to take their faith seriously is to be applauded, so this would possibly lead to more spiritually-literate believers in the Catholic Church.
