Libertarians weeely, weeely don't like Rick Santorum. This post over at Samizadata takes the cake-
If Santorum and his ilk keep forcing me to agree with left-wingers - in this case, that Santorum is pure evil - it is going to be a very, very long election year.
If he's pure evil, what is pure good in this alternative universe? You have your choice of amoral socialism if you think he's too conservative on economics or amoral anarchy if you think he's too liberal on econ. Neither like the fact that he actually takes Christian teachings at face value, including the fact that Jesus is sometimes a bit of a Jewish liberal.
Reading some of these libertarian screeds reminds me of The Screwtape Letters, where two demons plot to screw up a young believer's life, writing about God as the Enemy and the Devil as "Our Father Below."
It also reminds me of the catch phrase of Judges (21:25 in King James) -"In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes." That was not meant as a complement, but a libertarian would take it as such.
