I got a Google hit for this post on the Living Church of God, an offbeat offshoot of Herbert Armstrong's theology. I was blogging on it after a disguntled member shot up a metro Milwaukee church in 2005. By the way, for those of you who are coming in to check to see if it's a cult (it's a common Google visit), that depends on your definition. It has some questionable theology but isn't out in the drink-the-Koolaid land that we normally reserve the c-word for.
It's most likelt unrelated, but seven years later, we have another house of worship shot up in metro Milwaukee. We still have no idea what prompted this one; reports are out that the shooter was a white guy, but that would even include the darked-skinned Caucasian Indians that make up the majority of the gurdwara's worshipers; however, I have a feeling they were using a tight-white definition. We shall see.
