Does anyone have a plan for DEFEATING Hamas?
Posted by: Alan K. Henderson | November 20, 2012 at 12:11 AM
I don't think that's going to happen short of an ethnic cleansing of Gaza (which I would NOT recommend); Hamas will have to be contained, since it will exist as a movement even if it doesn't run Gaza. It's a radicalized version of Islam which will go underground when pressed but not fully going away until it becomes unpalitable to the Palestinian masses.
Sadly, that's going to take a while, probably a generation or more.
