Edifier du Jour: Matthew 11:28-30(NIV)

²⁸“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. ²⁹Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

It's hard to have Sunday school virtues in a hostile world. "Gentle and humble in heart" isn't on too many job descriptions these days; at least not ones that don't involve working with pre-schoolers.

Yet, that is our role model (and Lord and Savior) speaking. He has a far lighter load than the world does. Getting the world's yoke off is the trick.
