Interesting ruling on John Bolton's kiss-and-tell; a federal judge accepted the government's word that it had classified material, but since reporters galore had review copies and that the books are at stores waiting for a Tuesday launch, any secrets within aren't secret anymore.
The question to be seen by the book proper is how many real national security secrets there are and how many merely embarrassing-to-the-president revelations there are within. It reminds me of an old Soviet era joke about Sergei getting twenty years in the gulag for calling the general an idiot. Was that harsh? No, since he wasn't charge with insulting a superior officer but for revealing a state secret.
